Michael W, from Hillsboro, OH, was the lucky winner of the Trophy Turkey Hunt Sweepstakes. Michael headed to Cherryvale, Kansas for a 3-day, fully guided hunt with expert Turkey Caller, Paul Butski where he harvested his first turkey ever. Paul Butski has over 40 years of turkey calling experience and has earned recognition nationwide as an expert turkey caller and hunter. Along with being a three time N.W.T.F. Grand National Turkey Champion, Butski has been featured in major hunting magazines, radio talk shows, outdoor videos, and television programs. Paul, better known as the Maestro, is also the original Turkey Thug for Mossy Oak's Turkey Thugs on Pursuit Channel.
The hunt took place with 180 Outdoors, an outfitter in Southeast Kansas known for their great Whitetail and Turkey hunting. The turkey harvested weighed in at 22lbs, had a 10 ¼ inch beard and 1 3/8 inch spurs. This hunt package was all-inclusive and valued at over $3,700.
