Florida's Babcock-Webb Shooting Range Closed for Maintenance

The Fred C. Babcock/Cecil M. Webb Shooting Range in Charlotte County, managed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), will close from May 4-8 for regularly scheduled maintenance of its impact berms.

"Regular maintenance of impact berms on all FWC managed ranges is an integral part of our ongoing effort to provide the public with high quality, safe shooting experiences," said John Weatherholt, FWC Hunter Safety Administrator for the agency's Southwest Region.

For more information about locations and scheduled operating hours for FWC public shooting ranges, go to MyFWC.com/Hunting and select "Safety & Education" then "Shooting Ranges" or call the FWC's Lakeland Regional office at 863-648-3200 during regular business hours.
