Wisconsin to Present Living in Black Bear Country Program

Grantsburg, WI – For many people seeing a Black Bear is a thrilling, rewarding experience. The presence of Black Bears is not necessarily a problem or threat to your safety, but it is important to remember that bears are wild animals and deserve respect.

Join Donna Andrews with the Bear Interest Group, for a one hour presentation on Black Bears Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Donna will discuss helpful techniques for coexisting with bears on your property and suggested campground measures. Discover Black Bear behavior, diet, and bird feeding details. Presentation will include photos, videos, plus a question and answer time. Public welcome.

Bear interest Group has been working with wild and captive bears for over 23 years. They consult as needed with wildlife officials, residents, and tourists.

Crex Meadows Wildlife Education & Visitor Center is located at: 102 East Crex Avenue, Grantsburg, WI 54840.
