North Haven, CT – O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc, America's oldest family-owned and operated firearms manufacturer, is pleased to announce the promotion of John MacLellan to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. Most recently, MacLellan, serving as Vice President of Sales, led the company's domestic and international corporate and sales rep teams along with Mossberg's customer service operations, based in Eagle Pass, Texas.
MacLellan, a five-year company veteran, had previously held the position of Director of Sales before moving into the role of Vice President of Sales in July 2013. In his new role, MacLellan will continue to lead Mossberg's sales and customer service teams as well as assuming responsibility for the company's marketing team and brand initiatives. Prior to joining Mossberg, MacLellan held sales management roles with Smith & Wesson® and Andersen® Windows, Inc. for a combined total of 16 years and served for six years with the Dover Police Department as a Sergeant in the Field Operations Division.
