Columbus, OH (October 29, 2014) - Cabela's will celebrate Ohio Whitetail season as the temperatures are dropping and the leaves are changing colors by hosting Cabela's Deer Camp on November 8 - 9, encouraging outdoorsmen and women to shift their focus from summer adventures. Ohio deer archery season is in full swing and only being a few weeks away from the coveted deer firearm opener there's still plenty of time to get geared up for the hunt.

For those wanting to learn first-hand the process of butchering your whitetail harvest, Thurn's Fine Meats, Inc., will provide a "From Field to Freezer" butchering seminar on Sunday, November 9 at 12:00pm.

Bring the kids out on Saturday from 11:00am - 2:00pm to take part Cabela's Kids DEER Nation Scavenger Hunt. There will be prizes and giveaways for the kids while supplies last.
