Thursday, Nov. 6, 7-8:30 p.m.

Recently, the Beaver Island Natural Resources and Ecotourism Steering Committee outlined a set of recommendations to focus on natural resource protection, economic development and an environmentally informed public. The Northern Lake Michigan Islands Management Plan, the Beaver Island Plan and the Public Land Strategy each will focus on management efforts that have the greatest impact in those three focus areas.

The northern Lake Michigan islands management planning effort is one of the outcomes of the 2013 DNR Public Land Management Strategy.

Those with disabilities who need accommodations for the meetings should contact Keith Kintigh at 989-619-2296 at least five business days before the meetings.
