IFC, Ruger Support Becoming and Outdoors Woman Weekend

International Firearms Consultants, LLC and Ruger Firearms teamed up for the fourth consecutive year to provide introductory courses on Handling Handguns at New Hampshire Fish and Game's twentieth Anniversary Becoming and Outdoors Woman Fall Weekend. The classes were held at the Owl Brook Training Center in Holderness, New Hampshire where a variety of shooting and outdoor nature sports are taught for women only. The courses enable the ladies to sample activities that they have had an interest in but have yet to undertake.

The Handling Handguns course, taught by Linda and George Harris of International Firearms Consultants LLC, uses a variety of small to medium size Ruger Revolvers to fit the various hand sizes of the students. Handgun Safety is the primary focus of the course which culminates with live fire exercises providing each participant with a personalized take home target to show their newly learned skills to their friends and family.
