Prepare for Your Hunt with the Backcountry College

MISSOULA - As the hunting season heats up across the county, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) is helping hunters hone their outdoor skills with the free online video series, Backcountry College.

A collaboration between BHA and woodcraft expert, Clay Hayes, the Backcountry College provides hunters with free how-to educational videos on topics ranging from wilderness navigation, to survival gear, to dressing for the backcountry.

"Teaching outdoor skills, the kind that'll never leave you and that you can count on in a pinch, is something I've always enjoyed" said Backcountry College producer, Clay Hayes. "I really try hard to make each video so that both novice and experienced outdoorsmen can learn something from each."

All ten episodes of the Backcountry College are available online, for free. http://www.backcountryhunters.org/index.php/skills/backcountry-college

"There are few things more important to our sporting traditions than passing along our ancient outdoor skills," said Land Tawney, Executive Director of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. "This is just one small way that we can help do our part."

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is the sportsmen's voice for our wild public lands, waters and wildlife.
