Free Entrance to Everglades, Dry Torgugas NPs

National Park Service Turns 98!
Celebrate with FREE entrance to Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks

Homestead/Key West: Acting Superintendent Bob Krumenaker is inviting everyone who loves Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks to come enjoy free entrance this Monday, August 25, in celebration of the 98th birthday of the National Park Service.

According to Superintendent Krumenaker, "We are excited to join in the nationwide celebration of the 98th birthday of 'America's best idea,' the National Park Service, and invite everyone to come enjoy your national park."

At Everglades National Park, entrance fees will be waived at the main park entrance near Homestead, and at the entrance station at Shark Valley. The main park entrance is located at 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, Florida. Shark Valley is located at 36000 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida (on Highway 41, 25 miles west of the Florida Turnpike).
