Award-winning vocalist Jamie-Sue Seal will perform some of her favorite Motown hits in a live performance at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Bay City State Recreation Area. Seal has recorded five albums, has toured every region of the United States and performs as a solo artist, in duos and with her band. Her repertoire reflects the different styles of music she loves, including roots rock, country, folk, gospel and jazz standards.

Seal's performance is a part of the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center's "Music from the Marsh" concert series, featuring different musicians every Saturday evening during the summer.

The concert takes place in the day-use area of Bay City State Recreation Area, near the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center. The park is located at 3582 State Park Drive, in Bay City. There is no charge to attend, but a Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry to Bay City State Recreation Area.

A Recreation Passport is required for any motor vehicle entering a Michigan state park, boat launch, state forest campground or nonmotorized state trailhead parking. Residents can purchase the Passport for just $11 ($5 for motorcycles) at the time of Michigan license plate renewal through Secretary of State. Forgot to check "YES" during renewal?
