Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World explores how hunter safety education has changed hunting

Plus, Todd Sampsell, the Missouri state director for The Nature Conservancy, also joins host Rob Keck

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - This week, Steve Hall, executive director of the International Hunter Education Association - USA is featured on Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World radio. In addition, listeners will hear how healthy grasslands and forests mean healthy water resources, too. The show will air Saturday, Aug 23 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern time on RURAL RADIO's SiriusXM channel 80.

Hunter safety education has helped make hunting one of the safest outdoor activities that friends and family can enjoy. Hall talks about important steps hunters can take to make hunting even safer, and also shares how the delivery of hunter safety education has changed in the digital age. Protecting water resources is a topic tackled by Sampsell, and he explains how The Nature Conservancy is making a difference in Missouri, across the country and globally.

Each week, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World draws upon outdoor experts from across the country. Show host Rob Keck, Bass Pro Shops' director of conservation and a Redhead® pro hunter, and his guests provide listeners with the latest information about hunting, fishing and wildlife conservation.
