MISSOULA, Mont. -For the eighth consecutive year, Bass Pro Shops will sponsor Elk Country Conservation Month, a fundraising effort to assist the mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

"That continued support as a long-term conservation partner with key initiatives of fish and wildlife habitat improvements, conservation and outdoor skills education and conservation advocacy shows a true and lasting commitment to elk, elk country and our hunting heritage. "
During the month of August, customers will have the opportunity to donate $2 to RMEF. Those who enter have the chance to win a $2,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, one of four $750 Bass Pro Shops gift cards or one of five YETI Tundra 65 Coolers.

Since 1984, RMEF and its partners completed 8,975 conservation and hunting heritage outreach projects in North America that protected or enhanced more than 6.4 million acres of habitat while also opening or securing public access to more than 713,000 acres.
