Goose Hunting Clinic and Drawing at Hebron State Fish Hatchery (OH)

COLUMBUS, OH - Hebron State Fish Hatchery will be hosting an early goose hunting clinic on August 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. The clinic will cover basic goose hunting techniques, decoy placement and calling. Division of Wildlife staff will be on hand to discuss the biology of Canada geese and why hunting is needed to help control the population.

After the clinic attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a drawing to hunt at the Hebron Hatchery during early goose season. Potential hunters must attend the clinic to be eligible for the drawing. Persons drawn will be allowed to have two other hunters in there blind on their assigned date.

All hunters must have a valid 2014-2015 hunting license, Ohio Wetlands Habitat Stamp, Federal Migratory Bird Hunting stamp and H.I.P. certification.
