USAYESS, YESS4MN to hold first Youth Outdoor Experience

USAYESS in partnership with YESS4MN announced today that they will be holding their first Youth Outdoor Experience (Y.O.E.) event Saturday, April 26th and Sunday April 27th at the South St. Paul Rod & Gun Club located at 600 Gun Club Road in South St. Paul, Minnesota. Sign in begins at 8:00 am each day.

The Youth Outdoor Experience (Y.O.E.) events are open to the general public at no cost. Youth 12th Grade and below will receive hands-on experience in Skeet, Trap, Archery, BB Gun, Rimfire Rifle, Wildlife Conservation, and much more. These events are held in partnership with MidwayUSA Foundation, State Wildlife Agencies, National Wild Turkey Federation, Wild Sheep Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, their local chapters, National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) and other local outdoor organizations and businesses. The USAYESS Y.O.E. events are intended to introduce youth and their families to the outdoors, safe firearm handling and competitive shooting sports that the entire family can enjoy for a lifetime.

YESS4MN (Youth Education for Shooting Sports in Minnesota) will be holding a YOUTH TRAP AND SPORTING CLAYS TOURNAMENT on Saturday and Sunday. Teams who open new endowment accounts will receive $10,000.00 in endowment funding.

On Sunday, April 27th, there will also be paid clinics throughout the day for youth and coaches by USA Shooting Team Members. The first session will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the last session is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to sit in on a Basic Introduction Class which will cover Clay Target Sports, hosted by USAYESS.
