MDWFP to Honor Fallen Conservation Officers

JACKSON-The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) will honor and remember its conservation officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on May 15. The annual Memorial Service will be held at 9 a.m. at MDWFP headquarters located at 1505 Eastover Drive, Jackson, MS.

The Honorable Giles Ward, Chairman of the Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Senate Committee, and the Honorable Scott Bounds, Chairman of the Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks House Committee, will deliver the keynote address at this public service.

The Officer's Memorial Service is one of many commemorative events taking place in Mississippi during National Police Memorial Week May 11-17.
