Idaho Fish & Game's Bear Education Trailer To Be Staged At Weekend Movie Premiere

AMMON - Edwards Theatre has asked Idaho Fish and Game to set up its Bear Education Trailer outside its Ammon theatre for this weekend's Idaho premiere of the Disney movie "Bears", a non-animated feature film about brown bears in Alaska. The Bear Education Trailer will be on hand at the Edwards Grand Teton Stadium 14 Cinema to help provide the public with facts and information about Idaho's own bears.

The Bear Education Trailer staffed by Idaho Master Naturalists will be staged Friday through Sunday at the theatre. The specially trained volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about bears and provide all kinds of hands-on opportunities to learn more about how to be safe in bear country and how humans and bears can co-exist.

The management of the Edwards Grand Teton Stadium 14 Cinema has provided an area within the lobby of the theatre where displays from the Bear Education Trailer will be setup. The displays will be open to the public from 4-7 PM on Friday the 18th and from 12 - 7 PM on both the 19th & 20th. Those planning on attending the Bears Movie should be sure to leave a little time in their schedules to check on the bear education displays after viewing the movie.

For those with questions about bears, but unable to attend the movie, information can be found at www.igbconline.org.
