USA Silver Medalists Kick Off 2013 Archery Trade Show
Louisville, Kentucky - The USA Men's Team helped kick off this year's ATA Trade Show earlier this month as the industry gathered to see the new lineup of 2013 archery products. America's archery Olympians, Jake Kaminski, Jacob Wukie, and the world's #1 ranked archer, Brady Ellison, appeared on behalf of Easton to open the trade show at the pre-show Innovations Night event on Sunday, January 6th. Show goers were then able to meet the athletes at the Easton booth on the show floor Monday to hear their compelling road-to-London story, as the team answered questions, posed for photos, and signed autographs.
Team USA made Americans proud and thrilled viewers across the globe with their incredible performance this past summer at the London Olympic Games. Overcoming all odds, the American Men defeated the #1 team in the World, Korea, on their way to the Gold Medal Finals as the world watched what NBC called the most-watched sport of the Summer Games. It was the first and only time the Korean team has been defeated in Olympic Competition, and the two teams went head to head using made-in-USA Easton X10 arrows-the exact same X10 arrow model that has been used to win in every Olympic gold, silver, and bronze archery title since 1996. Korea later finished with a bronze medal and the USA men's team came home with the team silver title.
