Children can learn about evergreens at Bedford (IN) Library
Children ages 7 to 16 can learn about evergreens during a special program Jan. 29 at the Bedford Library.

A naturalist from Monroe Lake will be in the children's department between 3 and 5 p.m. to explain why evergreen leaves don't freeze in the winter and to introduce kids to several evergreen types that grow in the area. Leaves and cones from evergreens will be on hand.

The library is at 1323 K. St.
