Chatfield State Park Hosts Volunteer Open House
LITTLETON, Colo. - Put your passion for the outdoors to use by becoming a volunteer at Chatfield State Park and earn an annual parks pass!
Chatfield State Park will be hosting an Open House for prospective volunteers on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the park headquarters. Volunteer opportunities at the park will be discussed and any questions pertaining to volunteer activities will be answered. This is an informal meeting but an RSVP is appreciated.
Volunteers who contribute more than 48 hours in a calendar year are eligible to receive a free annual state parks pass. Volunteering at Chatfield is also a great chance to spend time outdoors and educate kids and adults alike about the amazing beauty and history of Chatfield State Park.
