ROXBOROUGH, Colo. - Become a Volunteer Naturalist for Roxborough State Park and enjoy the unique beauty of the park as you share it with others. Anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer Naturalist is invited to attend our Prospective Volunteer Open House being held at Roxborough State Park on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. For more information and to register, please call the park at 303-973-3959. Training will begin in April.

Volunteers receive a comprehensive four-week training course, periodic brush-ups, and a State Parks Annual Pass after 48 service hours within a calendar year. Prospective volunteers must be at least 18 years old, enjoy working with children and enjoy being in the outdoors.
