Get ready for Groundhog Day at the Bloomington library
Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to the Monroe County Public Library in Bloomington to learn about groundhogs on Saturday, Jan. 26.

A naturalist from Monroe Lake will have a special table set up in the program room of the children's department from 2 to 4 p.m.

"With Groundhog Day just a week away, it's a great time to learn more about this neat rodent," said Wendy Anderson, naturalist intern.

Anderson will share myths and facts about groundhogs, along with a simple groundhog craft. There is no charge for this drop-in program.

The library is at 303 E. Kirkwood Ave.

For more information, call the Paynetown Activity Center at (812) 837-9967 or email jvance@dnr.IN.gov.
