DEVILS TOWER, WY - For every successful outdoor show, there are a team of people who never make it in front of the camera, yet are every bit as important as the show's hosts and on-screen guests. This week, some of Intrepid's "behind-the-scenes" all-stars get their chance in the spotlight, which more importantly, means they get some time behind a gun or bow.
First, former lead editor of Intrepid Erika Ivanoff trades a computer for a rifle and joins her then fiancé, now husband, Phil Quick, for a thrilling northwest Wyoming hunt for antelope and whitetails. Additional hunting action is captured on the screen as Frank Amos sneaks away from his usual hectic duties as the manager of Solitude Ranch to arrow a cull buck. Amos spends most of his time putting other hunters on to nice deer, so this quick hunt is a special time for him and will be for those who join him on Intrepid Outdoors.
