Orion Launches e-Zine Service
Denver, Colorado--Officials from Orion Entertainment have announced the launch of a new service to help brands reach consumers without traditional media filters. Tablet magazines are not new but the strategy of brands taking their message direct to consumers through a compelling combination of video, articles, photography, and creative design via eZines represents the next generation of media marketing and corporate empowerment.
"The fact that so many brands now possess large numbers of consumer email addresses allows them to develop a dialogue directly with customers rather than through media filters alone," says Orion President Chris Dorsey. "This approach means that brands don't have to share the real estate with competitors, and these fully interactive eZines also enhance the value of corporate websites in which many companies have invested heavily."

In the past, manufacturers have tried custom newsstand magazines to eliminate media filters and to not have to share space with competitors. This reality, coupled with declining newsstand sales and the ability of eZines to instantly reach international audiences has opened the door for a new approach.
"We're seeing numerous manufacturers and retailers that have much larger lists of outdoor consumer names than many traditional outdoor media companies," says Dorsey.
