Hahira, GA- Backwoods Life, a popular hunting TV show airing on Sportsman Channel and Wild TV internationally, announced today that Hawke Sport Optics, a leading brand of optics sold in over 40 countries, will continue to sponsor the award-winning show for two more seasons through 2014.
Backwoods Life features three co-hosts, Kevin Knighton, Michael Lee and Woody Sullivan, primarily in pursuit of Whitetail Deer. However, the show also covers hunts for Mule Deer, Elk, Black Bear, Pronghorn Antelope, Wild Turkeys and even Alligator on occasion. "Everyone at Hawke was excited to continue our relationship with Backwoods Life," says Hawke's Brand Development and Communications Manager, Trent Marsh.
Backwoods Life connects with the average hunter because the three co-hosts strive to be real in personality and in representing on-camera what actually takes place during their hunts. "Michael, Kevin, and Woody are dedicated hunters with unique way of bringing their audience into their world; continuing to work together was an easy decision," says Marsh.
Hawke joined Backwoods Life as a new sponsor for the show during the 2011 season. "We have really enjoyed having Hawke aboard; their products are phenomenal, and we use them constantly," says Knighton. Hawke's products include scopes for rifles, black powder rifles, shotguns, crossbows and scopes for stand-alone spotting use. Other products include binoculars and various accessories.
Backwoods Life airs weekly on Sundays at 6PM ET, Thursdays at 8:30 AM ET and Saturdays at 2AM ET on the Sportsman Channel with additional airings on Wild TV in Canada and several other European countries.
