RSR Group, Inc., a national shooting sports distributor, has on opening for Programmer/Analyst in its corporate headquarters location in Winter Park, Florida.
The primary responsibility for this position is to analyze and develop computer programs to support the business operation. This includes consulting with clients; project planning; analyzing workflow, logical processes and interfaces with systems; researching and evaluating software and hardware to assist in programming; and designing, coding, testing and documenting programs.
This position requires an undergraduate degree in a related field and three years' related experience and/or training using COBOL and Linux. Substantial experience and knowledge in MIS can replace the educational requirement. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Programmer/Analyst must be able to manage multiple priorities and have strong organization and analytical skills. Proficiency in COBOL and Linux is required as well as knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Additionally, the ability to work independently is required.
