PISGAH - The Natural Resource Commission (NRC) of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will meet 8:30 a.m., Oct. 11, at the Loess Hills State Forest Visitor's Center, 206 Polk Street, in Pisgah.
Commissioners and DNR staff will meet at 11 a.m., Oct. 10 for a tour of the area. The tour will depart from the Loess Hills State Forest Visitor's Center and includes a forestry field tour, Missouri River tour and a stop at the Lewis and Clark State Park Visitors Center in Onawa. The tour is expected to return at 5 p.m.
The meeting and tour is open to the public.
Members of the NRC are Kim Francisco, Gregory Drees, Janelle Rettig, Dennis Schemmel, Margo Underwood, Conrad Clement and Dr. Sally Prickett. The Director of the DNR is Chuck Gipp.
