St. Vrain State Park Hosts an Evening Star Party
FIRESTONE, CO. - Explore the night sky with the Longmont Astronomical Society on Friday, Sept. 21, at 9 p.m. Use telescopes to see stars, planets, and other objects in the night sky! This program will meet at the park amphitheatre, located along Coot Pond.
Programs are free with admission to the park, $7 per day or $70 for an annual pass. All ages and abilities are welcome. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray, and be prepared to spend about an hour outside. No reservations needed.
