Go Ahead Tours Wants Editorial Photog for Year-Long, World Traveling Contract
Group travel leader Go Ahead Tours, part of the EF Education First family of companies, is now accepting applications for a photographer to engage in a one-year contract to photograph the world. The position will offer all-expenses paid travel to all seven continents-plus salary.
"This role will play a key part in a significant rebranding we're undertaking, and the selected candidate will help us to completely redefine the story of who we are," said Amy Van Aarle, Creative Director. "We're not looking for postcard-style shots of pristine monuments. Whether professional or self-taught, we want someone whose work will drive the editorial story revealing what the world is really like, as experienced by the wonderful people who travel with us."
Applications will be accepted until October 5, 2012, whereupon five finalists will be selected to show their skills on an international tour later that month. Images from the tour will be considered and a finalist will then be chosen for the one-year contract position. Requirements for the position include strong photography skills, a strong portfolio demonstrating natural, authentic work, an excellent eye for capturing unique moments, as well as availability to travel virtually non-stop and at a moment's notice.
