IN NRC to meet at Potato Creek State Park
The Indiana Natural Resources Commission will conduct its next bimonthly meeting on Tuesday (Sept. 18) at Potato Creek State Park near North Liberty.

The park entrance is on State Road 4 approximately four miles west of U.S. 31.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. (EDT) in the park's nature center.

An agenda and downloadable related materials are available at www.in.gov/nrc/2354.htm.

The NRC is an autonomous board that addresses issues pertaining to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The 12-member commission includes the DNR director, heads of three other state agencies (Environmental Management, Tourism, and Transportation), six citizens appointed by the governor on a bipartisan basis, the chair of the NRC's advisory council, and the president of the Indiana Academy of Science. The Academy of Science president and the agency heads, other than the DNR director, may appoint designates to serve the commission in their absences.
