Niles, Ohio- This week on The American Huntress, enjoy the spectacular beauty of Alaska with Linda and her crew as they spot and stalk grizzly's in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Situated about 70 miles south of the Arctic Ocean, the spike camp for Glacier Mountain Outfitters offers an incredible base for spotting and stalking these unique bears. The unforgiving tundra composed of soft soil, frost heaves, and marshy bogs makes for hard hunting but perfect barren ground grizzly habitat. Linda's guides, Ed Shanley and Randy Krebill do a fantastic job of putting Linda on a Boone and Crockett bear as they make their way across the tundra. Armed with her 300 RCM, Linda has several close encounters and finally gets her chance to send the 165 grain Hornady Superformance bullet home on a beautiful bear! With stunning landscapes, curious caribou, and awesome barren ground grizzly's, this is an episode you don't want to miss!
