Blues & BBQ September 8
McCormick's Creek State Park will host the fourth annual BBQ and Blues Festival on September 8 from 12 to 8 p.m. outside the nature center.

Food vending will be provided by Smokin' Jack's Rib Shack and Short Stop BBQ Train.

Musical performances will begin at noon and feature Carson Diersing, The Keepers, The Freddie Shaw Band, and King Bee and the Stingers.

The Stone Belt Stargazers will host an astronomy program and stargazing at 9 p.m. near the Pine Bluff Shelter.

A classic car show will run throughout the day.

All daytime activities are in the large pool/nature center parking area.

The programs for the day are free, but standard entrance fees of $5 for in-state vehicles and $7 for out-of-state vehicles will be charged.
