The Marketing Communications Manager will provide a broad range of communications and marketing support to Kimber and its products. The position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with a diverse staff team to create and manage cross-organizational, integrated marketing strategies supported by marketing communications
Develop and implement annual marketing communications budget after gaining senior management approval.
Develop and coordinate all advertising including developing strategy, creative development, space/time purchasing and communicating metrics and ROI.
Coordinate communications projects with vendors and contractors for the development and production of educational event promotional materials, and other sales and marketing collateral.
Provide writing and editing support for all outbound organization's communication including all promotional materials, a quarterly dealer newsletter and any mandated by product marketing or senior management.
Develop strategy and implement plan for all Kimber-designated shows for attendance. This would include spearheading any booth design or revisions, transportation of product and displays and securement of space, locations, materials, vendor installation/demolish and facility needs to work the show.
Serve as internal liaison to the meetings department and other staff resources
Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications and adherence to brand guidelines.
Development and fulfillment of branding and communication tools
Collateral (brochures, product information sheets)
Image library (Direct photography, maintain image library)
Web content
Packaging
Training materials (3point5, Armorer's Course, et al)
POP
All dealer, industry and LE communications (program flyers, advertising creative, newsletters, et al)
Copywriting
All major launch activities
Serve as primary contact and liaison with key strategic marketing partners such as USA Shooting
Insure proper brand management and usage both internally and externally. This would also include development and enforcement of brand standards. (Brand Steward)
Serve as secondary public relations contact for endemic and non-endemic media
Work with Web Developer/Social Media Specialist on all digital needs and messaging
Key advisor to senior management on all communications issues
Help develop and implement any crisis communication plan.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalency
Requires excellent written and verbal communications.
Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Knowledge of firearms and/or industry strongly desired
Resourcefulness in solving problems
Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Five of more years of experience in program development and marketing
Prior association and/or international markets experience desired but not necessary.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required.
