Build Your Own workshops offered at Monroe Lake
Learn how to build a terrarium, a bird feeder or a natural wreath through the Build Your Own workshop series this August at Monroe Lake's Paynetown Activity Center.
The workshops are on the last three Wednesdays of the month and start at 7 p.m. Each workshop costs $5 and requires registration in advance. The workshops are:
Aug. 15: Tabletop terrarium (register by Aug. 11)
Aug. 22: Platform bird feeder (register by Aug. 18)
Aug. 29: Natural wreath (register by Aug. 25)
To register for one or more of the "Build Your Own" workshops, call the Paynetown Activity Center at (812) 837-9967.
The workshops are recommended for ages 16 and older. Younger children may attend if they are accompanied by a registered adult. Each workshop is limited to eight to 10 craft kits. Two people may work together, except for the wreath workshop.
