Job Overview: The Web Content Department is looking for Copy and Technical writers for:
Binoculars and Scopes
This position requires the ability to understand the manufacturer's products, and to develop original content based on their information. This content includes item descriptions, features, specs, and includes. The writer also needs to be able to write articles and hands-on reviews about the products in their categories. B&H's Technical Writing team is the backbone of product information on the web. All product information on B&H website originates from the B&H Web Content Team; it is not cut-and-pasted or acquired in similar fashions. The Product Expert - Web Content Writer is responsible for ensuring that all his or her written work provides the customer with the most professional information on products according to the B&H guidelines and standards. S/He has to have intimate and extensive knowledge of his or her category and all associated categories. This means that the above employee needs to be extremely knowledgeable on the various "SKUs" already on the market and ones making a future entrance. This knowledge in his or her assigned category and associated categories should be constantly maintained via conducting research through the web and phone in order to acquire as much information as possible. A prerequisite to working as a Product Expert - Web Content Writer is to be an expert in their field.

Basic Qualifications: Minimum 1 year related experience
