Meet Legends of Sportfishing During ICAST 2012
Alexandria, VA - KeepAmericaFishing™, the American Sportfishing Association's (ASA) angler advocacy campaign, is hosting a "meet and greet" with the legends of sportfishing during the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST, the world's largest sportfishing trade show. ICAST is being held July 11-13, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The event provides industry legends such as Kevin VanDam, Mike Iaconelli, Luke Clausen, Shaw Grigsby and Mark Sosin, the opportunity to share what fishing means to them and how supporting KeepAmericaFishing helps ensure that our nation's waters remain open, clean and abundant with fish. The event is being held at the convention center on Thursday, July 12, at 10:00 a.m. in the ASA Resource Center located in Hall C, Booth 2251.
"KeepAmericaFishing's goal is to unite all anglers, from novice to professional, with one voice in support of fisheries conservation and keeping our public waters open to recreational fishing," said ASA Vice President Gordon Robertson. "We are excited to provide this unique opportunity for ICAST attendees, giving them the chance to talk one on one with some of the best anglers in the country, and the world."

Kevin VanDam - As the all-time money winner on the Bassmaster Tournament trail, VanDam has earned more than $5 million through February, 2011, captured four Bassmaster Classic titles and seven Toyota Tundra Angler of Year titles.
Mike Iaconelli - Decorated professional angler Iaconelli became World Champion by winning the Bassmaster Classic in 2003. Since then he has placed in the top 10 several times in the Classic and FLW Championships. Participating in numerous fishing shows and seminars throughout the year, Mike also guides part-time, writes fishing articles and designs lures.
Luke Clausen - Winner of the 2006 Bassmaster Classic and 2004 Forrest Wood Cup Champion, Clausen is one of only four anglers to win the top title on both tours. He competes as a member of the FLW Tour Chevy pro team.
Shaw Grigsby - Celebrated Bassmaster Elite series angler, Grigsby is author ofBass Master Shaw Grigsby: Notes on Fishing and Life and host of One-More-Cast.
Mark Sosin - Award-winning writer, photographer, radio personality and Executive Producer and on-camera host of Mark Sosin's Saltwater Journal now in its 27th season of informing and entertaining saltwater anglers across the U.S.
