Amateur photographers can win a 2013 annual DNR park pass in the Charlestown State Park photography contest.
All submissions must be photographs taken of or in Charlestown State Park by amateur photographers during 2012; however, the annual pass will be valid for all Indiana DNR state parks and reservoirs.
Submission forms are available at the park office. Submissions will be accepted at the park gate and office during open hours now through Aug. 3.
Individuals can submit up to three photos in one or any combination of three categories: park history; nature and wildlife; and programs and family fun.
Photos will be judged by an interpretive naturalist from the park and two volunteers. Winners of all three categories will receive a 2013 DNR park pass.
The results and all photographs will be on display at the park office on Aug. 4. The public is encouraged to stop by and vote for the "People's Choice."
