WHAT: Governor Martin O'Malley will dedicate the Gunpowder South Trail the Lefty Kreh Fishing Trail in honor of native Marylander Bernard Victor "Lefty" Kreh. Kreh is a world renowned angler who has forever influenced the sport through his works and contributions. The Lefty Kreh Fishing Trail runs along Gunpowder Falls in an area that stretches from Prettyboy Reservoir to Bluemont Road in the Hereford Area of Gunpowder Falls State Park. Department of Natural Resources manages this nationally recognized blue-ribbon trout stream as a catch and release fishing area.

Parking: Middletown Road Park N' Ride
Directions to the Park N' Ride:
I-83N exit 31 Middletown Road. Left at the light at the end of the exit ramp. The lot is over the bridge on your right.
DNR will have two shuttle vans running to/from the Park N' Ride to the event.
