Hunting Heritage Trust Contributes $25,000 to USA Shooting

The Hunting Heritage Trust pledged the majority of the proceeds from its recent Jack Robertson Sporting Clays Invitational Shoot to USA Shooting, presenting team officials with a check for $25,000 at the conclusion of the thirteenth Annual event.

"USA Shooting is tremendously appreciative of this major contribution. The Jack Robertson Shoot is a quality event involving lots of quality people and we are indeed proud to be selected as the major beneficiary of this year's shoot", said Buddy DuVall, Executive Director of the USA Shooting Team Foundation. DuVall participated in the event along with USA Shooting team member, Caitlin Connor.

"Because our name emphasizes hunting, many people believe the Hunting Heritage Trust supports only organizations with a hunting emphasis but our mission is to increase understanding of America's hunting and shooting sports heritage. We can think of few better ways to do that than to support our nation's best shooters as they prepare to represent our country in the Summer Olympic Games in London later this Summer," commented Bob Delfay, President of the Trust.

The Jack Robertson Shoot is coordinated by the Hunting Heritage Trust and is strongly supported by the hunting and shooting sports industry. Industry teams participating in this year's shoot included Baron Technology, Joseph Chiarello & Co., Mossberg, NSSF, Smith & Wesson, Ruger and a special "Olympic Dream Team" sponsored by NSSF.
