MDWFP to Host Fallen Officers at Dedication and Memorial Service

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) will host the Fallen Officers Dedication &Memorial Service on Thursday, May 17. The ceremony will start at 9 a.m. at the Jackson Office.

The service will acknowledge the ultimate sacrifices made by the agency's 10 conservation officers and their families, dating back to 1948. It will also serve as the official dedication of a memorial erected in 2007.

Dignitaries and invited guests include families of the officers and Governor Phil Bryant, who will deliver the keynote address and along with Mrs. Bryant, participate in the Laying of the Wreath.
