Jack Robertson Invitational Sporting Clays Event To Benefit US Shooting Team
The 13th Annual Jack Robertson Sporting Clays Invitational, scheduled for May 24th in Dover Plains, New York, will benefit the U.S. Shooting Team as the team prepares for the 2012 Olympics in London.

The Jack Robertson Shoot is coordinated by the Hunting Heritage Trust and is largely an industry event. Past shoots have benefited a wide array of shooting sports groups and charities including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the U.S. Military Academy (West Point) Pistol Team, Youth Shooting Sports Alliance, USA Shooting and a variety of state and local groups.

Industry teams currently registered for the shoot include Baron Technology, Joseph Chiarello & Co., Mossberg, NSSF, Smith & Wesson, Ruger and a special "Olympic Dream Team" sponsored by NSSF. Winchester is a key sponsor.

AcuSport Corporation, Baron Technology, Beretta, GunBroker.com, Henry Repeating Arms, Hornady, Leupold, Melillo & Mitchell Certified Public Accountants, Mossberg, NSSF, Reed Exhibitions, Ruger, Savage and Smith &Wesson have also contributed product.

The shoot will be held at the impressive Ten Mile River Preserve in Dover Plains, New York. Thanks in large part to the excellent job done by the Ten Mile Preserve staff; the JR Shoot has been called one of the most enjoyable and best organized shoots in New England.

There are openings remaining for three teams of up to six shooters each and approximately five more individual shooters. Those interested in registering should contact Kay Delfay at the Hunting Heritage Trust. Kay may be reached at 803 641 1030 or at kdelfay@earthlink.net.
