Archery Competition And Award Named for Byron Ferguson

Kingsport, TN: Bogensport Magazine has chosen Byron Ferguson to name their Archery Action Award after. The Byron Ferguson Archery Action Award will be given to the archer who submits the "coolest video" of themselves shooting their bows.

Shooters will have until December 31st, 2012 to post their best video on YouTube. The person receiving the most hits, and the most positive comments will be declared the winner. The winner will receive a LegendStick custom bow and a weekend seminar with World Champion Archer Dietmar Vordereger and a trophy. Prizes will be awarded to those finishing second through fifteenth place.

Video clips should not exceed 3 minutes in length. Finished videos should be uploaded to YouTube in either MOV, MPG, WMV or AVI format.

Ferguson states "it's truly an honor to have this contest named after me. This is an exciting contest and it gives the public an opportunity to share their enthusiasm for archery."

Fergusons popularity has skyrocketed in recent years in Europe and especially in German speaking countries. Germany and Austria are always a part of Ferguson's international tours.
