Sportsman Channel Snags Four CableFAXIES
New Berlin, WI- Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, was honored with four CableFAXIES Awards at an event held in New York City on May 1 by CableFAX, a leading industry trade publication. CableFAXIES recognize industry leaders that achieve excellence across all areas of PR, marketing and sales. This represents the ninth CableFAXIES for Sportsman Channel as the network has earned honors in previous years.

Sales Executive of the Year - VP and Below: Graig Hale, Sportsman's VP of business development, was named winner in the category "Sales Executive of the Year - VP and Below." CableFAX had this to say about Hale: "With Hale's attention to detail and mastery of the pitch he's been able to bag big clients ranging from Progressive Insurance to BRP/Bombardier to Cabela's...that's called selling folks."

Trade Show Marketing/PR: Sportsman Channel was named winner in the category "Trade Show Marketing/ PR" for the Hunt.Fish.Feed. event held at The Cable Show in May 2011 in Chicago. The event triggered numerous press clippings and on-site media, plus it involved more than 30 cable show volunteers across three shelters serving close to 600 homeless locals. Sportsman Channel beat out heavyweights such as Time Warner Cable and HBO's True Blood to win in this category. CableFAX has this to say about the program, "Sportsman Channel's 'Hunt.Fish.Feed' program to feed the homeless probably deserves an award every year."

Advertising Campaign for Single Program: Sportsman Channel received honorable mention for the "Advertising Campaign for Single Program" category for the TV series "Beau Knows Outdoors."

Community Relations: Sportsman Channel received honorable mention in the "Community Relations" category for its "Hunt.Fish.Feed" national program.
