We have an immediate opening for a Senior Compliance Analyst. This is a exempt Grade 8 position on the first shift. The Senior Compliance Analyst plays a key role in establishing and maintaining operational ATF compliance in Serial number records management, problem resolution, and ATF import processing. This individual will act as a first-level supervisor over two Compliance Analysts. The salary range is $57,600 - $63,000.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Problem Solving
Responsible for process mapping transactions (physical movement and data flow);
Determining root causes and presenting them to management and other department leaders;
Assigning corrective actions and playing a leadership role in the remediation of process and systems issues;
Establishing and upholding client service standards between FRC and its organizational constituents;
Appropriately delegating tasks back to other departments when necessary; and
Establishing solutions for the long-term benefit of our compliance efforts.
Administration
Processing administrative ATF tracing requests;
The identification of data discrepancies; and
The administration change of those records.
Serial Number Records Management
Conducting ATF traces
Entering or adjusting transactions as needed
Serial number scrap consumption
Processing NDA forms and records
Processing show guns
Assisting with the Serial Number inventory process
Problem Resolution
Resolving receiving / shipping issues
Investigating record discrepancies
ATF Import Processing
Processing of ATF import forms, form 6 and 6A.
Filing ATF end user certifications
Filing international import certifications (IIC)
Supporting customs broker delivering verification certificates
Tracking permit expiration
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong computer, spreadsheet, query and database skills.
Basic process mapping.
Cross-department coordination skills.
Prioritization and time management.
Ability to set expectations with FRC internal and external clients and manage to them.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act in a critical position of trust within the Company.
Flexible work schedule, ability to work evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice, and availability to respond to emergencies, 24/7.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Finance and accounting; Information technology or management of information systems; Operations or supply chain management
At least three years of professional experience.
Experience supervising at least one employee.
Strong computer literacy required in Microsoft Office applications.
Firearms and/or ATF regulations experience is highly desired but is not required.
