Smith and Wesson Seeks International Sales Administration Manager
We have an immediate opening for an International Sales Administration Manager. This is a Grade 11 salaried position on the first shift. The salary range is $71,500 - 107,300.

Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing International Sales administration, maintaining departmental procedures, assisting in training employees, problem solving capabilities and ability to perform at a level necessary to meet departmental goals. Ensuring compliance with, and keep current with changes to, all relevant US Govt. regulations regarding firearms, spare parts, accessories, and handcuffs; including the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Regulations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) Regulations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Regulations.

Management of international sales administration includes:

Manage activities of international sales administration team
Substantial communication with distributors, customers, freight forwarders, and intercompany departments - must establish and maintain good rapport and communication with customers from a variety of countries, provide timely replies to all communication, and be able to interact and work effectively with personnel throughout the organization
Implement and maintain corporate export compliance procedures
Maintain export records in accordance with US export regulatory requirements
Work closely with internal personnel and other sales teams to maximize order fulfillment, production tracking, and export logistics necessary to attain company sales objectives
Review, submit, and administer export licenses, agreements, and miscellaneous correspondence to the Department of State, Department of Commerce, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection including subsequent compliance with license conditions and provisos, maintaining activity log, decrementation of licenses after activity, and closeout
Submit Commodity Jurisdiction requests and Commodity Classification requests as required
Review export documentation, including invoices, export declarations (AES/EEI), packing lists, proforma invoices, letters of instruction, etc
Identify and determine any possible trade violations and coordinate with Legal and Compliance as necessary
Ensure restricted party screenings are accomplished and verified before shipment
Attend seminars and online trainings, receive export trade newsletters, and do research to stay current on all export regulations
Provide assistance to all personnel on export related questions and guidance
Compliance with internal vetting procedures for international transactions, and assistance with obtaining required documentation
Participation in special projects and foreign government tenders related to area of responsibility
Entertain foreign distributors during visits; Attend international trade shows as needed
Assist with coordination and clearance of import shipments of products, including temporary imports/exports of products to/from international customers for service or replacement
Handle US Government/Federal contracts and orders, including price quotes and special models, ensuring compliance with contract conditions

Education Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent related job training and experience; Strong computer skills required - experience in MS Office and Outlook email required

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 10 years international sales and/or trade compliance experience in a management capacity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage customer base, office personnel, meet departmental sales goals, and track multiple projects/duties simultaneously
Extensive background in ITAR regulations and international shipment requirements highly desired
Excellent organizational skills; Foreign language skills a plus
