GLOCK 2012 SHOT Handgun Raises More Than $15,000

Las Vegas, NV-The auction of a one-of-a-kind "GLOCK Statue of Liberty Handgun" on GunBroker.com yielded more than $15,000 for programs in support of America's hunting and shooting sports heritage.

Coordinated by the Hunting Heritage Trust in conjunction with the NSSF, the SHOT Show auction on GunBroker.com featured a very special GLOCK G22, hand-engraved in Austria and selected from the personal collection of Gaston Glock.

"Often times, the misconception is that GLOCK's limited edition pistols, such as the 'Statue of Liberty Gun' are hidden away in company vaults," stated GLOCK Vice President, Gary Fletcher. "With the company celebrating 25 years in the United States, Mr. Glock wanted to give those who helped the company achieve that milestone of success an opportunity to own this one-of-a-kind piece."

In addition to ownership of the exclusive "GLOCK Statue of Liberty Gun", the highest bidder for the SHOT Show handgun on GunBroker.com will also receive a hunting trip with GLOCK spokesperson, R. Lee "The Gunny" Ermey.

The 2012 SHOT Show auction was featured exclusively on GunBroker.com. Proceeds benefit the efforts of the Hunting Heritage Trust in support of America's hunting and shooting sports heritage.
