The Mad Fisherman Comes To VERSUS - Series Premiere Of Charlie Moore: No Offense

NEW YORK, N.Y. -VERSUS will debut the new original series Charlie Moore:No Offense, featuring the Boston native and Emmy Award-winning host, beginning on February 4, at 8:30 p.m. ET. The ten-episode show features this one-of-a-kind, cigar loving sports fanatic and avid angler, as he leaves his native waters and goes on numerous adventures taking viewers on a rip-roaring ride through the water.

In each episode of No Offense, Charlie will allow a special guest, celebrity or non-celebrity, to come into his world and, in-return, Charlie will go into their world. As a lifestyle show for outdoor enthusiasts, Charlie will totally immerse himself in the local flavors from various cities and towns across America. This season will feature celebrity guests from sports and entertainment, including Boston Red Sox Captain Jason Varitek, Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, former New England Patriots offensive lineman Todd Rucci and NHL Hall of Famer Ray Bourque. Rickey Medlocke, guitarist for rock group Lynyrd Skynyrd, and DMC of legendary rap group Run/DMC who performs the show open will also make guest appearances.

No Offense will feature a segment hosted by game-show legend Chuck Woolery called "How Well Do You Know Where You Live?" where guests play a trivia game filled with tough questions about their hometown. Additionally, viewers can log on to VERSUS.com to fill out an application detailing why they would like to be part of the show and why this brash Bostonian should come to their area of the country to fish.

The February schedule for Charlie Moore:No Offense follows, all times 8:30 p.m. ET (schedule subject to change):

Feb. 4 - Idaho Trout Fishing
The flowing river, the log cabin bank, the tumbleweeds rolling through the potato fields; all are representative of Island Park, ID. There is a peaceful tranquility to the area...that is until the Mad Fisherman and his crew descends upon the town.

Feb. 11 - Lancaster, PA with Todd Rucci
Charlie travels to Pennsylvania to film an episode with former New England Patriot Todd Rucci. Charlie and Todd head to Todd's private golf club and the plan is not to play 9 holes, but to fish for bass.

Feb. 18 - Hawaii Bone Fishing
Charlie fishes for bonefish and joins his local guest for an authentic Hawaiian-style home cooked meal. However, even Hawaii is not far enough from the mainland to keep the Mad Fisherman from bringing his unique Boston attitude and style to the island.

Feb. 25 Charlie's Backyard, Enfield, CT
The cast and crew travels all over the world to exotic locations to bring the viewers the best in fishing, fine dining, and fun. But there's all that and more right in Charlie's home region of New England as they embark on an adventure filled with steak, cigars, and fishing.
