Patrick Flanigan has taken the shooting world by storm as he continues to break one world record after another. He first experienced his love for shooting and the outdoors at the young age of 6 and has turned that passion into a career. In 2006, Patrick Flanigan set the world record with a pump-action shotgun in Xtreme Sport Shooting. As an eight-time world record holder, he continues to push the limits of this sport. On October 22, 2010, Flanigan shattered his previous world record, breaking 7 clay targets thrown by hand, shot individually from the hip with a Mossberg® 500® pump-action shotgun while filming Shooting USA's Impossible Shots. Flanigan comments, "This was one of the most difficult records for me in terms of technical difficulty; however, it was the fastest I have ever set a record with a new gun. I had my Mossberg 500 for less than 24 hours with only a few rounds fired attempting to get familiarized with my gun. The cameras were rolling, the pressure was on and, well, the rest is history." Flanigan also timed his new Mossberg 930™ semi-auto shotgun with intervals of a round per tenth of a second, which matches or beats some of his current records.
