Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Announces Administrative Changes
LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners has approved a plan to move from three assistant directors to one deputy director.
The restructuring of senior staff is a component of Game and Parks' recently adopted Administrative Study Plan. The plan focuses on the Game and Parks staff to develop plans to merge functions where feasible, reduce administration at the divisional levels, develop a cooperative approach to fisheries, wildlife, law enforcement, parks management and information and education administration, and plan and implement all conservation policies and programs in an effective, efficient and professional manner.
Sam Sidner, assistant director for marketing, has transferred to the vacant position of administrator of the Information and Education Division. Kirk Nelson, assistant director for fish and wildlife, has transferred to the Parks Division to fill the vacant position of western regional manager of parks and Roger Kuhn, assistant director for parks, has moved to administrator of the Parks Division. The selection of a deputy director is anticipated in November.
