MARCH 19 - 21: Woods lore & Tracking Weekend Step back in time, when American Indians and European Americans lived closer to nature. Paw print identification, a hunter/gather small group workshop, tracking walks, fur trade, scavenger hunt, a medicinal/edible/useful plants program, and a native supper are parts of the weekend agenda. The weekend will focus on learning how our ancestors tracked the animals that provided food and clothing in the 18th century, as well as other cultural exchanges. Attendees participate in indoor as well as outdoor sessions, and then have the opportunity to put new skills into use. Other weekend topics include: Indian stories, edible and medicinal plants, kids' programs, and an 18th century trading camp. Tracking and Woods Lore is for anyone interested in 18th century lifestyles and culture. To learn more about our instructors visit
