Team EOTAC's Vogel leads the way at the IDPA National Championships

West Columbia, South Carolina - The United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma hosted the annual IDPA National Championship on September 23-26, 2009. The 360 competitors faced some of the most challenging courses of fire, testing everyone's skills. Team EOTAC sent six participants and brought home five titles.

Bob Vogel set the pace and was awarded Champion of the Enhanced Service Pistol Division as well as the High Law Enforcement Champion title and Backup Gun Champion. Tom Yost won Senior Champion and placed 4th in Stock Service Pistol Division. Tom Carpenter won the Rifle Side Match and placed 5th in the Custom Defense Pistol Division. Other team members that competed at the Nationals included Dave Harrington, Massad Ayoob, and Mark Redl.
